The Opportunity: More Than Just a Till Point
As a Shop Assistant/Cashier P27, your purpose is to deliver an exceptional customer shopping experience by being the go-to person on the floor and the efficient final step at the till.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Service – Provide excellent service by assisting shoppers to find products and efficiently attending to queries and complaints.
- Cashier Duties – Accurately process all transactions, including cash and card payments, Lay-Bys, and customer refunds. Complete accurate till balancing and report any discrepancies.
- Merchandising – Ensure the sales floor looks great by taking responsibility for stock replenishment, correct pricing and display, and overall housekeeping. Keep up-to-date with all current promotions.
- Risk & Stock – Be vigilant for shoplifters and fraudulent activities. Report suspicious behaviour to Management and ensure products are tagged in line with company policy. Participate in stock takes.
- Values – Consistently live the Ackermans values and adhere to all policies and procedures.
What You Bring:
